Why Use Slay the Spire 2 Tools?
Slay the Spire 2 is a game of incomplete information. Every run asks you to make dozens of decisions — which card to pick, whether to fight an elite, when to rest — with imperfect knowledge of what's coming next. The players who win consistently aren't just lucky; they have mental models built from hundreds of hours of experience.
Our tools compress that experience into actionable reference. Instead of memorizing every monster's attack pattern or calculating Strength-scaled damage in your head, you can look it up instantly and spend your mental energy on higher-level strategy.
How the Build Planner Works
The Build Planner analyzes your current deck and scores each card based on how well it contributes to an emerging archetype. It detects patterns like Strength scaling, block-heavy defense, exhaust synergies, and power stacking — then recommends cards that reinforce your strongest angle rather than diluting your deck with off-theme picks.
Input your deck by searching for cards you currently have, then generate a reward screen to see scored recommendations with clear reasoning for each pick.
Reading the Card and Relic Tier Lists
Our tier lists rank every card and relic from S (game-defining, near-auto-pick) down to F (nearly always skip). Ratings are based on overall power level and versatility across archetypes — not just raw numbers. A 0-cost card that generates no value is D tier even if it technically has good stats on paper.
Use the filters to narrow by type or rarity. Ancient-rarity cards are always S tier by default — they represent the most powerful effects in the game. Rare Power cards are generally S–A tier because Powers provide compounding value over long fights.
Using the Damage Calculator in Combat
The most common mistake in Slay the Spire 2 is misreading lethal — either thinking you can kill an enemy when you can't, or wasting a turn on overkill damage when you should have blocked. The Damage Calculator eliminates that uncertainty.
Enter your base attack damage, current Strength, whether the enemy is Vulnerable, and how many hits your card deals. The calculator returns the exact total damage, so you can decide with confidence whether to attack or defend.
Attack Patterns and Boss Preparation
Every monster in Slay the Spire 2 follows a defined attack pattern. Elites and bosses cycle through a fixed or semi-random sequence of moves. Knowing the pattern lets you predict the next move and optimize your turn — for example, saving a big block card for a known heavy-damage turn, or dealing maximum damage on a turn you know the enemy will only debuff.
The Attack Pattern Viewer covers all normal enemies, elites, and bosses across all acts. It's especially valuable when learning a new boss or when playing at higher Ascension levels where enemy damage scales significantly.
